Abby took all the joy and excitement out of the Vuelta a Burgos coverage. As a newish cycling fan I tuned in to learn more about how the race was won. Instead, what I got was Abby on some tear to explain how victory was not so great, that other teams are weak, blah blah blah. A journalist respectful of her audience and the athletes would endeavor to showcase the effort, talent and challenges overcome with a degree of objectivity. Not navel gazing verging on jealousy.
